Hey guys, how's it going? Pretty good here, just been knitting (No way! Knitting, you say! Weird!) This is just going to be a short post (I think I got ya covered with the long posts...) but I wanted to let you know what I was up to. First off, last night I started the gussets on my loksins sock (Thank goodness!!!)
Whoa, a picture that actually looks like the right color red... what's up with that? Ok, remember these conditions, cloudy, snowy day, no lights in the computer room around 2 in the afternoon, just the computer monitor on, auto flash, close up. Ok, now I'm rereading that and I realize that you all must think I'm completely nuts. Oh well. :)
Then, I've also been working on this.
It's my pinwheel baby blanket! I've decided to have the colors fade out as it goes, instead of stripes. (Did I mention I was going to do stripes? No? Huh.) Anyway, I started with the darker blue, now I'm working with the lighter blue, then I'm going to do the outside with white. And... brace yourselves... I'm thinking about doing a crocheted edging. I know, I've gone over to the dark side... but I think I'm going to do it in the same blue color that's in the middle, to draw it all in. What do you all think? Or maybe I should do the light blue... hmm... I'm not sure! It's diameter is 15 inches, so I'm halfway done or so! :)
How was everyone's weekend? Thanks for stopping by!
socks are looking good. I am working on the gusset of double eyelet, I think I could finish it tonight after Girl Scouts. I did finish the fetchings. I think I may give these to my friend Cheryl and do Evangeline from Mag Knits for myself. We'll see. I often crochet to edge things, it will look nice. You could do a round of the light blue then of the dark blue for the edging...it sounds interesting. Thanks for the well wishes, I am feeling a bit better today. Off to get Giggles.
My weekend was pretty good, thanks for asking! I finally got some good solid knitting time in. Your blanket looks fantastic! I like your idea about doing the outside edging in the same color as the middle.
Hi there. My name is Angie and I live in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan with my husband Dylan. I'm a very part time nanny for my sister in law and her honey. I knit and crochet, though I prefer knitting for most things. I love lace and self striping yarns. I'm also a process knitter, so the more complicated the better. Want to know more? Just ask! Wondering about the blog post titles?
Every once in a while, while talking on the phone, one of us will say something very strange, or be misheard by the other, thinking we're saying something else. Taken out of context, and sometimes even in context, these phrases amuse us. You can feel free to ignore them, or comment on them... if you don't ask, we're not explaining! Plus, they're MUCH funnier that way. Trust us. You don't wanna know.
